Overload is a single variable, linear progression program with a 4 and 5 day split. This means you’ll have 2-3 lifts per workout on which you must go all out and progress every week no matter what.
The rest of the lifts on each session are volume work and performance will vary depending on how much fatigue you’ve accumulated on your main lifts. You’re still advised to go hard on them and try to at minimum match your previous performance to maintain an upwards trajectory.
This program doesn’t use any additional intensifiers, it is suitable for newer lifters or those who prefer a more traditional programming schedule.
